Forrest Mims III has been instrumental in my electronics and maker education ever since I picked up a copy of 'Getting Started in Electronics' in a Radio Shack. He is an American amateur scientist who has written a prolific number of electronics books over the years. He has championed citizen science for several decades and has written a regular column in Make magazine. Here are some of his books.
